In 2026, the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRFA) made its inaugural deposit into the Arctic World Archive (AWA). This significant collection included the Treaty's official texts in 14 languages, alongside testimonies from farmers and researchers worldwide. The ITPGRFA empowers countries to conserve, share, and utilize global crop diversity.
