The Yale Environmental Sustainability Summit featured two key plenary panels. The first, "Flowing Capital to a Sustainable Future," explored impact investing with Yale alumni. Panelists included Tom Hodgman (NatureVest), Jeff Possick (MissionPoint Partners), Shelby Semmes (Intervale Advisors), and Adam Wolfensohn (Encourage Capital), moderated by Terry Kellogg (Helios Capital Ventures).

The second plenary, "Moving Ahead: Change Making, Sound Science, and the Rule of Law," discussed future directions. Speakers were Paul Anastas (Yale), Tom McHenry (Vermont Law School), and William K. On November 10, 2021, at COP26 in Glasgow, the University of Cambridge’s Aviation Impact Accelerator (AIA) hosted a fireside chat titled 'Accelerating Aviation to Climate Neutrality.' Prof. Rob Miller, Eliot Whittington, and John Holland-Kaye discussed the opportunities and challenges for climate-neutral aviation, stressing a whole-system approach.

The event included a preview of the AIA simulator prototype, designed to guide innovation, investment, and policy. The AIA aims to accelerate the transition to climate-neutral aviation by building an interactive, open-source, whole-system simulator. This tool will facilitate industry alignment and decision-maker engagement, mapping pathways to achieve climate neutrality.

She is a SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor of Environmental Biology and founder of the Center for Native Peoples and the Environment.
