The panel featured experts including James Quincey (The Coca-Cola Company), Sir Stuart Rose (Marks & Spencer), and Gerard O'Neill of Amarach Research.

In 1969, 14-year-old Beatle fanatic Jerry Levitan snuck into John Lennon's Toronto hotel room and secured an interview. Thirty-eight years later, Levitan collaborated with director Josh Raskin and illustrators James Braithwaite and Alex Kurina to create "I Met the Walrus," an animated short film using that original recording.

This spellbinding film, a vessel for Lennon's wit and timeless message, garnered critical acclaim. It was nominated for a 2008 Academy Award for Animated Short and won a 2009 Emmy for 'New Approaches,' becoming the first film to win an Emmy on behalf of the internet.

North Dakota Governor Jack Dalrymple activated the National Guard ahead of a ruling on the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe's lawsuit against the $3.8 billion Dakota Access pipeline. U.S. District Judge James Boasberg is set to rule on an injunction challenging the Army Corps of Engineers' permits, arguing violations of the National Historic Preservation Act.

Over 1,000 people from more than 100 Native American tribes have gathered near the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation to resist the pipeline's construction, marking the largest tribal unification in decades. An update is provided by Tara Houska, national campaigns director for Honor the Earth.
