FAO and Colombia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs partnered to strengthen the cacao value chain in Cubará, Boyacá. The project supported ASOCAB, an association of 60 farming families, with technical assistance and agroecological transition.
Key achievements include a cacao processing plant, a standardization and drying center, a registered local brand, four new cacao products, and agroecological practices. This initiative improves livelihoods, promotes sustainable agriculture, and strengthens rural development in border regions.

The Municipal Decentralized Autonomous Government (GADM) of Chone canton and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) launched the "AgroJOVEN Chone: Tu destino, nuestro legado" project. This initiative aims to foster youth economic and labor inclusion by valuing Chone's agro-food identity, biodiversity, and Montubia culture. Funded by the Italo-Ecuadorian Fund for Sustainable Development, the project will run until 2027.

The EU-funded "Recovery of Livelihoods and Rural Enterprises" (REME) Project, implemented by FAO and the Government of Guatemala, strengthens the production capacities of rural women.
