Regenerative Agriculture - Wildlife vs. Livestock

Animal agriculture consumes three-quarters of all farmland, destroying habitat and eliminating over 70% of the planet’s wildlife. This heavily subsidized industry kills 80 billion animals annually for just 12% of the human diet, while also degrading topsoil.

Though regenerative farming is proposed, it often requires farm animals. This prompts the question: shouldn't we instead allow wildlife to return? Sailesh Rao (Climate Healers) and Larry Kopald (The Carbon Underground) discuss this with host Dale Walkonen.
