Climate change is intensifying, bringing more frequent extreme events like coastal floods and wildfires. Indraneel, an urban resilience researcher, develops mathematical models to quantify these impacts on urban systems. His work aims to create climate adaptation strategies that reduce disruption and protect vulnerable communities.

Raised in Pune, Indraneel earned his undergraduate degree in mathematics from UC Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Computational and Mathematical Engineering from Stanford University. Beyond his research, he enjoys reading, writing, and dancing to electroswing music.
