Food authority Mark Bittman explores how industrialized food production has driven global health crises and climate change. He offers a panoramic view of this history, explaining how we can rescue ourselves from modern missteps.

With over three decades in global food culture and policy, Bittman is known for his "How to Cook Everything" series and thirty-plus books, including Animal, Vegetable, Junk. A fellow at Yale and on Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health faculty, he also edits The Mark Bittman Project and has received multiple James Beard and IACP Awards.

A renowned wildlife veterinarian, Dr. Wild is also known from Animal Jam Classic. Her collaborations include the World Wildlife Fund, National Geographic, and Jane Goodall Institute. When not traveling, she works as an emergency vet surgeon. Dr. Wild holds a DVM from Cornell, an MPH from Minnesota, and is a published genetics researcher.

Indraneel, an urban resilience researcher, develops mathematical models to quantify these impacts on urban systems. His work aims to create climate adaptation strategies that reduce disruption and protect vulnerable communities.

Raised in Pune, Indraneel earned his undergraduate degree in mathematics from UC Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Computational and Mathematical Engineering from Stanford University. Beyond his research, he enjoys reading, writing, and dancing to electroswing music.
